He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander S. Benton and Grace Benton (Allison); and his sister Elizabeth A. Heald. He is survived by: his wife Gloria S. Benton (Buonanni); his children, Peter S. Benton of Morrisville, NC, Allison B. C. Luck of Nashville, TN, Jennifer L. McGahey of Elwood, IN and Barbara A. Benton of Corpus Christi, TX.; and his sisters, Judy A. Willbergh of Brick, NJ and Jeanne F. Middlemass. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
