He was predeceased by: his spouse Margaret P. Newbold of Narragansett, RI.; his parent Robert Newbold; his child Robert G. Newbold; and his brothers, Francis A. Newbold and Monsignor Robert C. Newbold.
He is survived by: his parent Helen Newbold (Hogan). He is also survived by his children and their spouses Kathleen Ross and her husband Craig of Pawtucket, RI, Anne Epstein and her husband Richard of West Long Branch, NJ, Mary Brown and her husband Joel of Saunderstown, RI, Patricia Haggerty and her husband John of Westerly, RI, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
