He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Groves and Anne Groves (Henry). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kit" Groves (Murphy); his children, Ralph, Tim Groves (Kathleen Hughes) of Providence, Katie MacKrell (John MacKrell) of North Kingstown and Daniel Groves (Jacqui Simmons) of Savoy, IL; his grandchildren, Molly, Grace, Liza, Jack MacKrell, Ruby, George Groves, Linden and Iris Groves; his sister Carol Mayhew of Narragansett; and his nephew Fred Mayhew of Harrisonburg, VA. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
