He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Monte and Theresa Monte; his brother Louis Monte (Helena); and his grandson William Beach. He is survived by: his children, Marsha Beach (late Paul) of Charleston, SC, Frank Monte (Gloria) of South Kingstown, Mary Camire (late Roger) of Narragansett, Phyllis Palizza (Len) of Cranston and Christine Gilmartin of Cranston; and his grandchildren, Monica Manzi (Michael), Frank Philip Monte (Elizabeth), Philip Monte (Melissa), Charles Beach, Teresa Beach, Stephen Beach (Juliana), Leonard Palizza III (Valentina), Christopher Palizza, Katherine Johnson (Michael), Andrew Gilmartin (Alyssa) and Timothy Gilmartin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and eleven great-grandchildren.
