With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lamar Grancher of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Norwood, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Larry Lamar and Garry Lamar; her former husband Walter Grancher of New York City; and her sister Virginia Almquist. She is survived by: her husband Larry Lamar; her son Steven Lamar (Mary) of Narragansett; her grandchildren, Mia, Carleigh, Katie and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Hazel, Eleanor, Dylan, Madison and Nora.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trudeau Center, 3445 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886.
