He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Rogers Richard; his parents, John L. Richard and Catherine Elizabeth Kozaine Richard; and his siblings, Ruth Salopek and John Richard Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Karen A Winterholer (Bryant) of Goshen and Kenneth G. Richard (Betty) of Narragansett; and his siblings, Dorothy Calisti and Robert Richard. He is also survived by 6 granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
