It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerard McDavitt Sr. of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy L. McDavitt; his parents, James F. McDavitt and Helen C. McDavitt (McGee); his children, Gerard Jr., Sharon, James, Mary Ellen, William, Timothy and Thomas; and his nieces and nephews, Donna Gunning, Margret Habel, Kathleen Jeffries and Thomas Reilly III. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Social distancing and facial masks will be required.
