With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Sammartino Sr. (Narragansett, Rhode Island), born in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 3, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Verna C. Sammartino (Martellini); his parent Rocco Sammartino; and his sibling Louis Sammartino. He is survived by: his parent Lucia Sammartino (Iacabone); his child Edward R. Sammartino, Jr.; his wife Joanne of West Warwick; his great grandchild Rocco Joseph DiNezza; his siblings, Robert C. Sammartino of Cranston and Nicholas Sammartino; and also, Paula Ochab (Jonathan) of Franklin, MA, Rocco Sammartino (Lori) of Saunderstown, Thomas Sammartino (Jennifer) of Cranston and David Sammartino (Eileen) of Warwick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
