It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy S. (Hannon) McVey (Narragansett, Rhode Island), who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William R. McVey, Sr.; her parents, Russell Hannon and Lillian Hannon (Rondina); her sibling Russell Hannon; and her granddaughter Mandy McVey.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Tully (Floyd), William McVey, Jr. (Nikki), Robert McVey (Claudia), Thomas McVey (Ellen) and Timothy McVey; her brother Robert Hannon (Elaine); her daughter Dorothy; her grandchildren, Erin McCurdy, Jennifer McCurdy (Anthony), John Tully (Angela), Kerry Miller (Matt), Katie Giorgi (David), Rebecca Clay (David), Bethany McVey Paster (Joshua), Shannon Gurule (Rodney), Haley McVey and Tommy McVey (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Emily, Meghan, Rose, Myles, Beckham, Winny, Isla, Bailey, Colby and Boden. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
