We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2019, at the age of 89, Doris M. Gillis (Narragansett, Rhode Island), born in Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Samson and Mathilda Samson (Leduc); and her sister Rita Samson. She is survived by: her husband Joseph C. Gillis; her children, Patty McLeod (Scott) of Narragansett and Joseph C. Gillis, Jr. (Jennifer) of Hopkinton; her grandchildren, Alexander McLeod, Jessica McLeod, Kaitlin McLeod, Sarah Gills and Emily Gillis; and her godson Robert Fenner.
