He is survived by: his parents, Howard W. and Elsie T. Sherman; his wife Paula Sherman of Narragansett; his siblings, Carolyn Sherman of Narragansett and Howard A. Sherman of Vero Beach; his children, David C. Sherman of Cape Canaveral, Linda M. Sherman of Tolland Conn and Roger; and also David. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
