We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 86, Daniel James Hoy of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoy and Catherine Hoy (Tighe); his former wife Mary Hoy (Perko); and his brothers, Jack and Tim Hoy.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen M. Hoy (McCann); his children, Thad Hoy, Tom Hoy, Peter Hoy, Danielle Curran and Veronica Hoy; his grandchildren, Sean, Matt, Cathy, Charlotte, Peter, Molly, Hannah, Ethan, Alyssa, Daniel and Jimmy; his siblings, Terry Hoy, Jim Hoy and Jeanne Frances; his stepchildren, Rebecca Riley, Thomas Riley and Kathleen Bailey; and his stepgrandchildren, Sammy, Lindsay, Kaya, Luke and Donovan. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
