She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Whirty; her son Christopher Whirty; and her brother John Savage. She is survived by: her son Richard Whirty; her siblings, Frank Savage and Susan Hunt of Baton Rouge; and her children, Sandra Clark, Tracey Maron, Beth Suedmeier and Mark Whirty. She is also survived by six loving grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Carlotta would appreciate donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, HopeHospice Care, or a charity of your choice.
