It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice C. (Anderson) Durfee (Narragansett, Rhode Island), born in Barrington, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 11, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Seldon Anderson and Olive Elizabeth Barton (Kippax); and her stepfather Carlton R. Barton. She is survived by: her husband Wayne K. Durfee; her children, Bonita R. "Bonnie" Durfee Lambert of Foster, RI and William K. Durfee (Wendy) of West Greenwich; her grandchildren, Dr. Heather Tirpaeck, D. O. (Lincoln Tirpaeck), Alexis N. Durfee, R. N. (Ryan Richard) of Wilmington, NC and Damon Wayne Durfee of West Greenwich; and her great grandchildren, Everett and Chloe Tirpaeck.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory made to the Music Program at Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia Street, Peace Dale, RI 02883-2491 will be appreciated.
