Roger Bringhurst Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Bringhurst of Middletown, Rhode Island, born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, who passed away on April 27, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Bringhurst and Elizabeth Bringhurst (Tibbetts); his brothers, Rodney and Randall Bringhurst; and his former wife Lenness Bringhurst (Mimi).

He is survived by: his children, Dawn Belanger (Vincent) of Washington Depot, CT and Rory Bringhurst (Kimberly) of Middlebury, CT; the mother of his children Linda Shuhi of Litchfield, CT; his grandchildren, Mariah Stoughton and Camdyn Bringhurst; his siblings, Denice Stoughton (Mark) of Woodbury, CT, Robert Bringhurst of Middletown, RI, Richard Bringhurst (Kelly) of North Kingstown, RI and Russell Bringhurst of Stephens City, VA; his wife Catherine Bringhurst; his stepchildren, Christine Organ (Scott), Jon Cotter (Dale) and Kerri Kern (Stephen); his stepgrandchildren, Alexa, Spencer, Cooper Organ, Nicholas, Jacob, Caitlin Martin, Erin, Lauren and Zachary Kern; and also Sofia Stoughton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, his memorial service and burial will be private for family and close friends.
