Rita May Truver Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita May Truver (Middletown, Rhode Island), born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 2, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alesio Frank Bobba and Enrichetta Argenta Bobba; and her husband George "Lou" Truver. She is survived by: her sister Dottie Hopkins (Bobba); her children, Dorothy Romaine Corey (Joe), Ted Truver (Barbara), Vin Truver (Julie), MaryAnn Romaine Peterson (Bobby) and Nanette Truver Gifford (Randy); and her friend Elaine Botelho. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude, 308 North Paca Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
