It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard S. Phelps (Middletown, Rhode Island), who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Judith Lincourt Phelps; his brothers, Kane, Timothy and Michael Phelps; his children, Nathan Phelps, Cynthia Thompson and Andrew Phelps; the mother of his children Margaret Faerber Phelps; and his stepchildren, Donna Golden and Eric Gilfand. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
