He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mendell and Elizabeth Mendell. He is survived by: his wife Fran Mendell of Middletown, RI; his children, Beth Greenberg (Jeff) and David Mendell (Emily); his grandchildren, Eliza, Samuel Greenberg, Noah and Chase Mendell; and his sister Karen Dannin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
