She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Nicholson, Sr. and Dorothy M. Nicholson (Reilly); and her cousin Abigail M. Price. She is survived by: her children, Patrick N. Sampson and Claire R. Sampson of Newport; her siblings, Dr. Dorothy M. Nicholson of Arlington, VA and Joseph J. Nicholson, Jr; her cousins, Karen N. Coffman of North Kingstown, Donna Pedro Lennon of Westport, MA, Paul Pedro of Portsmouth, Richard Nicholson of County Cork, Linda Nicholson of County Cork, Marie Nicholson of County Cork, Tracy Eagles of County Cork, Ireland, James Grady of Bristol and England; her nephews, Peter Elbaor, James Nicholson and Christian Nicholson; and her niece Caitlin Nicholson.
