He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Almeida and Antonia Cunha Albuquerque Almeida; and his sister Maria Armenia Cunha. He is survived by: his wife Isabel Costa; his children, Cecilia Hoffa of Central Falls and Paul Almeida of Central Falls; his stepdaughter Debora Perreira; and his sisters, Maria Lourdes, Warwick and Julia Joaquina Silva of Pawtucket. He is also survived by three Grandchildren.
