Genevieve Kane Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genevieve Kane in Middletown, Rhode Island, born in Tiverton, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 6, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Frates and Jennie Frates (Malone); her siblings, George Frates, Daniel Frates, Joseph Frates, Steven Frates, Ellen Medeiros and Jean Harrington; and her spouse Francis "Lefty" Kane.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Kane (Sheila), Colleen Ivanoskos (Richard) and Michele "Mimi" Thurman (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Michael Kane, Sean Kane (Pam), Christopher Kane and Brittany Thurman; and her great grandchildren, Ashley Kempenaar, Brooke Kane and Brianna Kane. She is also survived by many extended family members including nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in law.
