She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Makowski, Sr.; her parents, Joseph Boisvert and Elsie Boisvert (Esten); her son Michael Makowski; and her brother Ronnie.

She is survived by: her friend Charles Santerre; her children, Wayne Makowski (Suzanne), Cynthia Marchand (late Eric), Ernest Makowski (Jeannine) and Gregory Makowski (Joan); her grandchildren, Stacey Sharma, Kerri Morin, Bobby Young, Daniel Marchand, Sophie Makowski, Jeffrey Makowski and Bethany Makowski; her great grandchildren, Hannah Sharma, Caleb Young, Hayley Morin, Caroline Morin, Riley Morin and Cameron Young; and her siblings, Paul Boisvert, Judy Ballou and Charles Boisvert.
