It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph E. Lanctot of Manville, Rhode Island, born in Albion, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine E. Lanctot (Laurence); his parents, Louis Lanctot and Clarinda Lanctot (Gagnon); his siblings, Romeo Lanctot, Edouard Lanctot, Lucien Lanctot, Louise Holobesco, Doris Marchand, Leon Lanctot and Raymond "Pete" Lanctot; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Lanctot (Messore).
He is survived by: his sons, Peter Lanctot (June) of Foxborough, Mass, James Lanctot (Karen) of Woonsocket, Daniel Lanctot (Leslie) of Central Village, Conn. and Joel Lanctot (Laurie) of Manville; his siblings, Claire Creighton of Falmouth, Mass., Francis Lanctot of The Villages and Aldor Lanctot of San Antonio, Texas.; his grandchildren, Kristina Lanctot, Aimee Desmeule, Allie Lanctot, Evan Lanctot, Adam Lanctot, Nick Lanctot, Ian Lanctot and Noah Lanctot; and his great grandchild Hanna Desmeule.
