She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sylvia Jr.; her parents, Pierre Couture and Eleonore Lavallee Couture; her daughter Norma Jean Taylor; and her sister Alma Robin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dolores M. Colding (Peter) of Clemmons, NC and Christine M. Roberts of Manville; her grandchildren, Scott T. Taylor, Beth Jean Holmes, Michelle C. Colding, Joseph W. Roberts and Randy M. Roberts; her great grandchildren, Megan H. Taylor, Benjamin M. Holmes, Emma R. Roberts, Robert J. Holmes, Samantha E. Holmes, Max W. Taylor, Tenley E. Roberts and Ava R. Roberts; and her siblings, Violet George, Therese Heroux, Arthur Couture, Roland Couture, William Couture, Wilbrod Couture and Edward Couture. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
