He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy L. Crowell (Lease); his parents, Stephen H. Crowell, Sr. and Claire Crowell (Richmond); his son Gilbert N. Crowell of Columbia, SC; his granddaughter Jennifer Gorton; and his sister Mary Ring.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen H. Crowell, III (Sharon) of Fort Myers, FL, Bruce W. Crowell (Rochelle) of Lincoln, RI, Richard A. Crowell (Hilary) of Vergennes, VT and Carol A. Stormes (Keith) of Pawtucket, RI; his daughter-in-law Terri Crowell; his sister Marjorie Kurtz of Warwick, RI; his grandchildren, Stephen, Russell, Brandon, Kathryn, Alexandria, Shanlee and Sebastien; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Dominic, Isaac, Ethan, Olencia, Donovan, Evelyn and Emma.
The funeral, and burial with military honors, will be held in the near future as pandemic restrictions ease.
