He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Maxine Abbott; his granddaughter Jessica Abbott; his daughter Judith Torres; his grandchildren, Eleanor, Glynnis and Phillip; his sons, David and Douglas; his sister Ruth Katz of Reston, VA; his nieces, Joan Katz and Stephanie Katz; his great-nephew Eli Katz of Vienna; and also Collie Shepherd. He was also cherished by three children.
