Robert C. Matkowski Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2025, at the age of 61, Robert C. Matkowski of Lincoln, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matkowski and Gloria Matkowski (Dantino). He is survived by: his son Michael J. Matkowski of Lincoln; his wife Theresa E. Matkowski (Woloszynski); his brothers, John Matkowski (Frances) of South Windsor, CT and David Matkowski (Lori) of North Smithfield; and his mother-in-law Filomena Campbell of North Providence. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Church (191 School St, Lincoln, RI 02802). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
