Robert Baxter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2020, at the age of 84, Robert Baxter of Lincoln, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Baxter (Astley); his parents, L. Rowland Baxter and Sarah E. Baxter (Carnaghan); and his brother Ronald Baxter. He is survived by: his girlfriend Denise Calderwood of Lincoln; his sons, Steven Baxter, Navy Captain and Robert S. Baxter (Sue Anne) of Swansea, MA; his siblings, Alyce Hanley of Anchorage, AK, Rosalie Enos of Lincoln and Richard Baxter of New Bern, NC; his granddaughters, Stephanie, Erika Baxter of Swansea, MA and Autum Grimm of Marysville, WA; and his great grandchildren, Nathen and Alexandra Grim of Marysville, WA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

PLEASE NOTE: Per the R. I. Dept. of Health due to Covid-19, only fifteen (15) people may be in the funeral home at any time during the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Baxter's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 510 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
