He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Thornhill and Louise Thornhill (Robillard); and his siblings, Doris Menard, Wilfred Thornhill, Thelma Cimini and Gerald Thornhill.
He is survived by: his wife Anita L. Thornhill (Trudeau); and his children, Laurie Messier of Warwick, Jay Thornhill of Tampa, FL, Tracie McCusker of Wakefield and Julie Schwoebel of North Kingstown. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
