He is survived by: his wife Patricia Burton (Bennice); his daughters, Johanna Burton of Willimantic and Leslie Quish (Craig) of Lincoln; his siblings, Pamela DiMaio (Joseph) of Gloversville, Claudia Burton of Johnstown, Kimberly Burton (Steven Snyder) of Greenfield Center, Cindy Burton of Las Vegas, Nevada and Timothy Burton of Johnstown; and his grandchildren, Ronan Quish and Madeline Quish.
In recognition of Richard's spirit of giving, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
