He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Houle and Claire Houle (Gelinas). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Houle (Sweeney); his daughter Kerri Slezak (Richard Sr.) of Blackstone, MA; his sisters, Laurie Houle of Newport, RI and Celeste Oliver (Blair) of Blackstone, MA; his grandson Elliot Slezak of Blackstone; and his brother-in-law Thomas Sweeney (Kathleen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
