In the sacred silence of farewell, Maria is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Maria's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maximiliano Betancur; her parents, Samuel Bravo and Emiliana Holguin; and her daughter Olivia Betancur. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Betancur (Marta), Gladys Betancur, Doris Betancur, Maria E. Betancur, Rogelio Betancur (Julio), Daryl A. Betancur and Diana Betancur. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (69 Quincy Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
