She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Escamilla and Secundina Valencia. She is survived by: her children, Jose Banos (Jen), Sonia Banos (Carlos) and Vilma Lemus (Roberto); her grandchildren, Dominick, Cristian Banos, Maria Isabel, Tatiana Menendez, Francisco and Alfredo Lemus; her great grandchildren, Dyland, Jayden and Haley Selene Gomez; and her sister Elena Escamilla. She is also survived by her niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of her generosity to others, donations may be sent to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 in Maria's name, or a charity of your choice that supports families in some way.
