She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Goncalves (Paizinho) and Clara Fortes (Cacai Djon Cacai); her husband Jose DeBurgo; and her grandson Joseph Vieira (Joey) of Pawtucket, RI. She is survived by: her son Orlando DeBurgo (Benvinda); her grandchildren, Jacqueline Metayer (Gilbert) of Tamarac, FL, Brianna Jones (Denzel) of North Providence, RI, Kassandra DeBurgo Dass of Coral Springs, FL, Alexander Melton (Emma) of South Kingstown, RI, Khadija DeBurgo of North Providence, RI, Jean Joseph Harrington and Jaiden DeBurgo of Plantation, FL.; and her brother Manuel DeBarros (Nei) of Brockton, MA. She is also survived by several first cousins, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location.
