She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" J. Shanley; her parents, Archie Skiera and Mary Skiera (O'Brien); and her sister Mary Lennon. She is survived by: her children, Mankind Church, James J. Shanley of Phoenix, AZ and Thomas J. Shanley (Kristin) of Thompson, CT.; her grandsons, Jonathan Shanley (Alyssa), Tyler and Nathan Shanley; her great grandchildren, Natalie and Vanessa Shanley; and her brothers, Raymond Skiera, Joseph and George Skiera. She is also survived by her grandchildren, extended family as well as special friends.
Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery will be private. Face masks and social distancing will be observed at the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Catholic Charities will be appreciated.
