He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose R. Currais and Custodia Cerqueira Currais (Rodrigues). He is survived by: his spouse Lealdina R. Currais (Pereira); his children, Manuel R. Currais Jr. of Lincoln and Fatima R. Oliveira (Ulysses) of Central Falls; his siblings, David Currais of Portugal, Fred Currais of New Jersey, Maria Araujo of New Jersey, Conceicao Cerqueira of New Jersey and Rosa Barboza of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Branden Oliveira, Kelsey Oliveira and Tyler Currais; and his brothers, Antonio Currais, John Currais and Jose Currais.
