He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Helena Rosa Monteiro; and his daughter Fatima Monteiro. He is survived by: his children, Osvaldo Rosa Monteiro and Carmen (Carlos); his grandchildren, Cesarina Monteiro Elias and Ivonilde Monteiro Burgess; and his sons, Carlos (Katy Monteiro) and Roberto Monteiro. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters, and a brother as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the same location.
