He is survived by: his spouse Mark Richards; his fathers, Ronald Martel (Joanne) of Providence and Al Grzyb of Central Falls; his son Kevin Martel of Pawtucket; his granddaughter Skyee Kayata; his brothers, Richard Martel (Dena) of California, Joseph T. McGrath, Jr. of Pawtucket and Wayne Martel of Central Falls; his godson Joseph T. McGrath III of Pawtucket; his stepsister Chrissy Grzyb of Cumberland; his uncles, George St. Pierre (Gertrude) of Cranston, Norman Martel (Ethel) of Attleboro, MA and Robert Martel (late Sandy) of Pawtucket; his nephews, Brandon, Nicholas and Brenden; his niece Courtney; his cousins, Troy, Barbara, Kayla, Kelsey, Brook, Christine, Dawn, Stephen, Billy, Norman, Rick and Greg; and his friends, Dimas, Bob, Gloria, Puggle and Sam.
