He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Tomlinson (Cahill); and his parents, Wilfred Tomlinson and Emma Tomlinson (Duckworth). He is survived by: his children, John Tomlinson (Margaret), Edward Tomlinson, David Tomlinson (Mary), Jo-Ann Enander (Steven), Robert Tomlinson (Christine) and Doreen Tomlinson; and his sister Mildred Patnaude. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
