He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary DeBolt (Parsons) and Eldred DeBolt; and his granddaughter Mary Elizabeth Gois. He is survived by: his wife Faith Alice DeBolt (Gorman); his children, John DeBolt Jr., Jamie DeBolt (Tommy Saccocio), Christopher DeBolt and Faith Mary DeBolt (Rene Gois); his grandchildren, Hayli DeBolt and Emma DeBolt; his great grandchild Aaliyah; his brothers, Joe DeBolt (Patti DeBolt) and James DeBolt (Ann DeBolt); and his pets, Milo and Cody. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Centers or to Cancer research and awareness.
