It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eduino Fontes of Lincoln, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Monteiro Fontes and Clarice Monteiro Fontes. He is survived by: his wife Maria E. Fontes (Pina); his children, Dr. Adelina Das (Raja) of Avon, Connecticut, Eduino Fontes, Jr. of Lincoln, David Fontes (Tiffany) of Cumberland and Dr. James Fontes of Providence; and his siblings, Carolina Amado of Pawtucket, Matilda Veiga of Pawtucket, Joaquina Fontes of Pawtucket, Etelvina Fontes of Middleboro, Massachusetts, Eduardo Fontes of Dorchester and Hipolito Fontes of Central Falls. He is also survived by six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
