It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. McLaughlin (Lincoln, Rhode Island), who passed away on June 25, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George W. McLaughlin; her parents, John McMahon and Mary McMahon (McGeever); and her sisters, Veronica Buckalew (McMahon), Elizabeth Hames (McMahon) and Ann McMahon.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen and Kevin of Cary; her grandchildren, Declan McLaughlin, Dr. Aevan Stainfield, Martin Seamus McLaughlin and Siobhan McLaughlin; her son Brian (Teresa); her grandson Sean McLaughlin; her great grandchild Kathleen (David Hibbert); her sisters, Helen P. Bayless (McMahon) of Fairfax, VA and Margaret Teixeira (McMahon) of Keansburg, NJ.; and also Brianna Hibbert.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
