With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen Lynn Bethea (Lincoln, Rhode Island), who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Bethea Sr. Born; her parents, Celestine Williams-Mero and Edward Mero; and her siblings, Michael Williams, Milton Williams and Alice Atkinson (Williams).
She is survived by: her daughters, Deidre Johnston of Hamden, CT, Thea Grant of Atlanta, GA and Alicia Bethea of Johnston, RI; her grandson Edward Bethea Jr. of Havre de Grace, MD.; and her siblings, Joel Williams of Hamden, CT, Edward Mero of New Haven, CT, Delbert Mero of Worcester, MA and Celestine Mero-Spann of McDonough, GA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
