He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCaffrey and Alice McCaffrey (Hogg); his grandchild Jordan Alves; and his brother Richard McCaffrey. He is survived by: his son Darryl J. McCaffrey (Amanda) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Duncan McCaffrey (Christy) of Bow, NH., Liam McCaffrey of Jacksonville, NC. and Devin McCaffrey of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Araya and Emma; and his nephew Michael McCaffrey of Narragansett.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904.
