She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Monteiro Fernandes; her parents, Manuel Lima Monteiro and Maria Viera Fontes (Veiga); her daughter Valentina Fernandes; and her brothers, Cesar Lima Monteiro, Rudolfo Lima Monteiro, Francisco Manuel Fontes and Justimiano Lima Monteiro.
She is survived by: her siblings, Maria Monteiro Rosa, Pedro Lima Monteiro, Joao Lenivelt Monteiro and Sidonio Lima Monteiro; her children, Fernando Fernandes, Carmencita Andrade, Franklin Fernandes, Maria Barbosa and Felix Fernandes; and her grandchildren, Jared Fernandes, Jesse Fernandes, Aaron Andrade, Andrew Andrade, Franklin Fernandes Jr., Cynthia Fernandes, Fenix Fernandes, Sarah Perez, Amanda Barbosa, Isabel Barbosa, Shyne Fernandes and Synsere Fernandes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, friends and family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
