She is survived by: her children, Maria Pires, Beatriz Pires and Leonel Pires; her grandchildren, Harel Pires Monteiro, Yvette Brunson, Tijanay Martell, Jaslyn Pires LaSalle, Alex Pires, Elijah Pires and Carter Pires; and her siblings, Celeste Rodrigues, Beatriz Rodrigues, Angelina Fortes and Antonio Rodrigues. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
