It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary M. Peterson of Kingston, Rhode Island, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret J. Cernada (Corbett) and Peter George G. Cernada; her husband John F. Peterson of Kingston; her brother George P. Cernada (Eleanor) of Amherst; her grandson Gary M. Peterson (Carrie) of Oregon City; her great grandchild James; her granddaughter Mary Migliori of Wakefield; her great grandchildren, Donald and Gloria; her granddaughter Margaret Norberg (John) of Duxbury; her great grandchildren, Maggie, Eleanor, Mary and Clara; her grandson John Samuel Peterson of Kingston; her great grandchild Marco; her granddaughter Sarah Peterson of Wakefield; and her sister Joan Dalton. She was also cherished by her husband, her children, and her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to The Church of Saint Thomas More, Rockland St. Narragansett, Rhode Island.
