She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tavares and Virginia Tavares (Cunha); and her husband Robert A. Ferreira. She is survived by: her daughter Jo Ann Vickers (Ferreira); her son-in-law Robert P. Vickers; her granddaughter Mei Ella Catherine Vickers; and her siblings, Fernanda Kirk and Casimiro Tavares. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
