He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Demers and Grace Demers (Pellerin); his granddaughter Jenna Turcotte; and his siblings, Paul Demers, Bertrand Demers and Claire Bolton.
He is survived by: his wife Cora A. Demers (Cook); his children, Janelle Hackett (David Hackett) of Scituate, Lisa Muscatelli (Paul Muscatelli) of Johnston, David Demers (Hazel Profughi) of Smithfield and Wendy Carroll Antunes (Celso Antunes) of Johnston; his grandchildren, Caitlin Hackett, Dana Rabbitt, Emma Hackett, RJ Turcotte, William Demers, Stephen Carroll and Mackenzie Carroll; and his great grandchild Alexis Turcotte.
