It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Tumminelli of Johnston, Rhode Island, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Claire Tumminelli; his parents, Peter Tumminelli and Josephine Tumminelli (Marchisotto); and his son Christopher Tumminelli. He is survived by: his children, Adam Tumminelli, Elizabeth Antunes, Richard Tumminelli and Candice Ficken. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and many great & great-great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Robert Bellarmine Church (1804 Atwood Ave, Johnston, RI 02919). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Ann Cemetery (73 Church St, Cranston, RI 02920).
